Harlequin Duck (1st winter drake) Seaton Park, River Don, Aberdeen

I don't usually travel to see the rarer species but this one a Harlequin Drake had stayed around on the River Don in Aberdeen for a few days and I thought if it can travel from Iceland then I should manage Aberdeen.

On arrival I found the bird right away, perhaps it was the small pack of men with the large lenses standing by the river. The light wasn't good as it was early in the day and when it did get better the sun gave everything a golden tinge, hey-ho!
