Great Egret still at Kinnordy, also some artistic shots!!

I returned on Tuesday when the sun shone on Kinnordy and got a few better photos of the Great White Egret, it didn't last but the first two photos below were taken just as the light began to change. Also photos of three of the Winter Thrushes, a rare photo of Snipe in flight and some views for a change.

Garden Goldfinches

Taken as the mist came in and helped stop the usual over-exposure

Quite a mobile bird, this is at the west end of the loch

Still can't get the Smew to come and sit in front of the East Hide

Some of the very active Snipe at Kinnordy

This Snipe was at the roadside near Lintrathen and is almost draped in spider webs

Looks better than tinsel

Looking from Kingussie towards the Cairngorms

There had been Redwings in this tree on a Juniper covered hillside
